Puerto Rico is believed to be one of the twenty spanish speaking countries. However there has been quite a bit of confusion over whether or not Puerto Rico can actually be called a country. According to welcomepuertorico.org Puerto Rico is an island that has been belonging to the United States since 1898. There are 9,966 million people that occupy Puerto Rico. It is a very diverse island and has alot to offer in the area of tourism.
